About CalcWise

CalcWise is an independent website that offers free, easy-to-use financial calculators. It was started by Crushjs Team, who got tired of loan and mortgage calculators that hid the total cost, were cluttered with pop-ups, or asked for an email address before showing a result.

What we believe

• The total cost matters as much as the monthly payment. Every calculator shows both.
• Your numbers are yours. All calculations happen in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us.
• Explanations beat black boxes. Each tool shows the formula it uses and walks through an example.

How we keep results accurate

Our calculators use standard, widely published formulas for loan amortization and compound growth, the same math banks and lenders use. We test results against known examples and update guides when common rules (such as PMI cancellation thresholds) change.
